If the screen will not come out of power save mode it is generally the fault of the computer not pulling out of power save mode. Does the screen come out of power save mode wheny ou start the computer? If it does I would look at your settings and try and solve the problem on the computer side.

Turn off the monitor;
Unplug the monitor from the computer;
Turn on the monitor;
Try going to the <menu> of the monitor, if there any menus avaiable you will see it, if the monitor stays in sleep mode probabily you have another problem related with some electronic protection of monitor electronics and then i think you sould take it to maintenace tecnitoin of your area,

Best regards, Creon

Monitor displays "warning pc entering power saving mode

Hello
Sounds like to power settings were set too low. Restart the PC, before it gets to Windows press F8. This will send the PC into SAFE mode. You'll get a menu of which SAFE mode to select, just select SAFE mode with networking. Once in SAFE mode, go to START, Control Panel, Power Options. From there select new settings. Since this is a desktop, I would make the settings very long. Good luck

My powerbook g4 screen is black what can I do?

Try restarting, if still not picture, then try hitting function key + F5 at the same time. Some laptops have a little icon the key that looks like a monitor as well.

If not try hooking up your laptop to a regular computer monitor and see if you can get a picture and fix the problem that way.

My sreen powers of my desktop

Check your pins at the connector.  I had a problem like that before and it was a student who unplugged the cable and tried to reconnect but bent 2 pins which shorted out the computer and monitor.  If that isn't noticable try connecting the monitor to another computer or laptop and if it still does the shorting issue then its in the monitor cable or board on the monitor.

No monitor works on my G4 Power Mac

Hi,
If no monitor works on your Mac, but the machine is booting, the only assumption I can draw from this is a faulty display card.
Try another display card and see if this helps.

How do we turn off the POWER SAVING MODE on the monitor screen?

Try going into your Start Menu then going into your control panel...then clicking on your "power options"....then switching the options to 'always on'..if this does not work..(as it seems you may not be seeing this because the monitor is in power saving mode) try fiddling with the setup option on your monitor and find a possible powersaving mode enabled function and disable it. every monitor is different so I couldn't really help you here...if this doesn't yield results try another monitor to see if it's the monitor having the problems or the computers video card...the video card could very well be the culprit...

Monitor

Are you sure this is a monitor problem? I have a user with a Mac that occasionally has the same symptoms you describe. For me I generally have to shut the computer down and physically unplug the power cord from the computer (not monitor), reattach it and restart. Let us know if that works for you.
