Luis Fernando Perez... wants more answers to this question

did you just hyjack to year 2012? to NOW? OK lets do that.
A305D-S6848
so you have software issues with this relic PC.
missing drivers, and not stating what OS is loaded there?
XP? is it? if so say so, and get it at the makers web site.
Fixya makes no PCs nor stores any software or manuals.
the maker does. (and virus free, )
here
https://support.toshiba.com/support/products?cat=Computers

there they are, the one and only Toshiba OEM for PCs

the support there only does XP/VISTA/w7 , ONLY
That error is for missing shock protection device
it protects the HDD for if you DROP your PC,
it detects this fact and parks the hDD head, saving from disk crashes(doom )
it is not necessary at all and for sure if HDD is now a SSD with no disk or head s to protect, I have mine turned off in fancy HP laptop with 2 SSD inside.
the problem is there are so many drivers on the makers web page to find the correct one is not easy. and vast posts on all forums
related to this 1 issue, one poster found this driver to fix his w7.
hddprot-20091102112810.zip
no update history posted by anyone here,
upgrading from XP is impossible with out using the below updates correctly.
What Id do of w7 was upgraded is click and load all lines below with W7 in the title.

https://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=2059342&osId=29

that is my report, full on this topic, YMMV, YDMV your driver may vary. and sure does BY YOUR UNSTATED OS.

I am using noontec v7 ii, the device unable to read my external hard disk. How can I solve this problem?

gee , just failed now, or never did work is the first time trying it?
tell the story, as that matters. (makes answers 10x more easy)

no external HDD stated, USB? does it have power pack missing,
is it SSD , HDD 2.5" or HDD 3.5" drives (rust drives) make and model of external device matters. (big time)
or using E-sata external.
next what PC is this you posted to computers so it must be that.
so what PC, what OS do you run.,
did you up grade the OS and all USB3 ports are dead.
did you test the ports dead with USB keyboard, to see if the USB port is dead, the best way in the world to test USB is that.

the device above is a MEDIA player, and not a computer
and is a dedicated appliance. and has its own rules.
most devices made, not real computer are very strict on the usage of USB and external file media, (format limits strict and very limited)

what do you mean external HDD.??? inside your unstated PC.?
tell how you wish to use this setup.

the manual shows using the PC to download media files in to the V7 then the V7 can play them on a TV using HDMI.
the v7 has an internal HDD.
the USB port only your PC can be dead, many are, now.
due to owners doing ill advised and wrong upgrades to the OS>
the USB port on laptop are weak, 100mA limits and most things fail on those junky laptops due to weak ports, (non stated by you)

do you have the manual, on V7
its over 8 years old.
if you do, then tell what steps you get lost in the manual setups.
then I can advise, and any errors seen for sure.

ACPI\ASD0001\2&DABA3FF&1

that is the "Quick Launch Buttons" driver.
Check the HP Support site for your exact Model and download it.
if that fails, see if the solutions on this page work.

If this is a Windows 8 upgrade, it's a common problem. First you have to ID the Unknown device in Device Manager with a yellow triange. Take a look at this forum: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-Systems-and-Software/acpi-ven-hpq-amp-dev-0004/td-p/2537553 You can try this software:

These are just descriptions of hardware components that your computer contains. Nothing you should worry about. The solution to your internet connection problems may be in the configuration of the connections, the deactivating of a wireless adapter, the firewall rules that are enforced, the setting in your browser such as Work offline.

Lightscribe dvd MODEL TS-L632 not working..... If you remove the drive, it will at least open and close when you reinsert it. Runs but does not show up in the device managers list of installed...

  1. No PC stated
  2. No OS stated, XP?
  3. No disks stated clearly. vast types exist.
must we guess all that?
sure DM, if its missing in DM the causes are.
1: the Driver for the unstated OS is missing,
2: the drive is bad.
3: the OS is corrupted, (XP will be)
if XP you must have SP3 loaded to run all those DVD back then.

WoW, that one is a good one.
If you are using Windows OS go to device manager, hardware, uninstall or remove device (DVD player).
Turn off the computer HARD BOOT/Cold Boot, not just reboot.
Start the computer and it should find your DVD add the drivers and install them. That should do it.
NOT all Windows versions are exactly the same, but, once you get to the device manager you should find remove/add devices.

Wireless card not functioning/disabled after loading XP in a Compaq Presario C700T CTO Notebook PC

The wireless is not going to turn on and off via the switch properly until we get the drivers loaded to make it work. There are 3 possible types of wireless card it could be, so we have to find out the exact model number of your system. On the bottom there should be a label that has a P/N or part number listed. what are those numbers. Here's an example of the label:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00033108&lc=en&cc=us&lang=en&os=2093&product=3632144&dlc=en

or

http://tinyurl.com/35dt4h

we need the info listed for #1, #2 and #3. Then we should be able to determine which adapter you have, and then we can (hopefully) find some Windows XP drivers for you.
