Question about Samsung CXM2785TP 27 in. TV/VCR/DVD Combo
Just today, I turned on the tv and it started making a high-pitched noise. There is sound, but no picture. Could this be a problem with the high voltage oscillator circuit? Is it possible to order a main circuit board. If so, from where? I appreciate any suggestions/help.
No I think your problem is the horizontal output transistor blew out an that was a result of the flyback transformer going out or blowing up.. Good Luck TO you.

sony kv20vm30 1997. when i first plug it in it makes a short 'chirp' sound and then won't turn on. after a few minutes it makes a longer high pitched "SQUEEEE" and then i am able to turn it on. however, the display is dark and red. well, it WAS dark and red. now it has transitioned to being blindingly white. what's wrong with it? is it fixable?
