Setting the clock on my dvd/vcr

I know this is a silly question but i cant seem to be able to set my clock on my dvd/vcr player its a toshiba sdv393 can anyone help? thanks

The DVD portion of the equipment does not play all DVD's like it used to. It plays some but not all.

Older DVD players, such as yours, tend to stop working after long periods of use. The lens tends to work only some of the time, such as in your case. A new one will eventually need to be purchased.

take off the back of the tv and look for a glass fuse if the inside of the fuse looks broke replace it by going to radio shack if still no fix get a new tv sincerely john

How to set time and date

Turn on. Goto channel 3 or 4. Press DVD/VCR button until display says VCR. Press TV/VCR button until the display says VCR. Press SETUP button. Select SYSTEM SETUP. Select CLOCK SET. Edit time and date. Press SETUP button.
