You need to go into the print driver on your Windows machine and go to the Device settings tab. One of the settings is to set whether the unit has a duplexer or not. It does not always set automatically.
This error gets due to of printer usb cable problem. If the cable is good, check your usb post, it means some voltage problem in udb port, last one drivers. Try to download drivers from hp.com of other websites and in stall it.
I have found the solution. Quite simple. In the printers properties box select the general tab. Click on the on the printing preferences button. Selecting the Paper/Quality tab, observe the Print Task quick sets. These all need to have Default print settings selected. In our case, they were not. This enabled all applications to print correctly once again.
