Click on Printers and Faxes, then right click on the Canon printer - click Properties - click Maintenance tab - then click on Nozzle check.

The ink absorber is a small tank that holds the waste ink your printer generates when it cleans its nozzles. Eventually that bottle will fill with ink and if not replaced will result in a terrible, sticky mess all inside your printer and the desk on which it sits.

I suggest contacting a local authorized repair facility for Canon or Customer Service for Canon and see if you can purchase a new absorber bottle without having to take the printer into the shop.
