If you have the proper tools and understand how the picussion circuits work then you can get a maunal and troubleshoot the TV set, but this pincussion circuit is a dangerous place to be as there is alot of high voltage in this circuit. if you do not know about these solid state circuits, play it safe and get a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck

thats a pin cushion problem. I would check for more bad caps on the deflection board or open resistor. Sounds like you had an issue with the retrace cap CL031 and the HOT transformer and possibly the DL030 often if they fail bad enough the circuit board can actually burn through and that arc can travel and cause other items to fail. You may end up having to replace the deflection board to fully fix the issue of pin cushion that your experiencing now.
Hi, you don`t adjust the mirror, you have whats called a pin cushion failure and that means you need to call a tv tech, parts need to be replaced in that circuit and this isn`t something a layperson should attempt, video-tek
If you have no prior experience repairing TV sets, I wouldn't recommend opening it up under any circumstances. There are voltages inside that can kill, even when unplugged.
Your safest bet would be to go with a repair guy. Shop around for various prices. In the end you will have to weigh the cost of repair against a new set and decide..
I had the same problem with my TV, It seems the high voltage trasnformer blew which in turn casued the pin cushion?? to blow. It then shuts the tv off to prevent more damage to it.
$500 with service charges to get it fixed!
