Abnormal noise produce by microwave when not in use(power on) or even in standby mode. Could it be the fan rubbing against something or not align properly?

please undergo the following

Since 30 to 50 percent of the power into a microwave oven is dissipated as heat in the Magnetron, cooling is extremely important. Always inspect the cooling fan/motor for dust and dirt and lubricate if necessary. A couple of drops of electric motor oil or 3-in-One will go a long way. If there are any belts, inspect for deterioration and replace if necessary.
An oven that shuts off after a few minutes of operation could have a cooling problem, a defective overtemperature thermostat, a bad magnetron, or is being operated from very high AC line voltage increasing power to the oven. One interesting note: Since 30 to 50 percent of the power goes out the vents in the back as heat, a microwave oven is really only more efficient than conventional means such as a stovetop or gas or electric oven for heating small quantities of anything. With a normal oven or stovetop, wasted energy goes into heating the pot or oven, the air, and so on. However, this is relatively independent of the quantity of food and may be considered to be a fixed overhead. Therefore, there is a crossover point beyond which it is more efficient to use conventional heat than high tech microwaves

i think the information would help u if so rate me please, otherwise just give it as fixya,Thank u

Rc17 commercial microwave, display shows door even when door is closed.what can i do to resolve

Possible that the door lock switch is stuck and so is not releasing even after the door has opened. Look inside after disconnection of power to the microwave at the place where the door locks. Tap into the lock to release the switch . If the switch is jammed or damaged it must be taken out and replaced.

Microondas amana error5

Hi edextre07,
This means that you have a control board failure. Error code F5 can only be fixed if the control board (ERC) is replaced. You may contact Sears for the replacement part at 1-800-252-1698; M-F 6:30 AM-10:30 PM - Sat 7:00 AM-9:30 PM - Sun 7:30 AM-9:30 PM - All times Central.
Hope this helps.

My microwave shows an error that says c-5 what is it

That would be "CS", which means low current sense.

CS Current Sense

Current Sense - Indicates control is sensing low current
(Amp) draw. Check components which would allow unit
to run but produce no heat or low heat. Current sense
circuit is active only when using pre-programmed pads.
Time Entry feature will by-pass current sense circuit.
Red wire from cavity T.C.O. must be routed through
current sense loop on H.V. Board.
Possible Causes:
1. Interlock switch (contacts 2 & 3).
2. Open thermal cut-out (magnetron).
3. Open/loose wire.
4. Power relay.
5. H.V. Board.
6. Magnetron.
7. Diode.
8. Capacitor.
9. Transformer.
10.Triac.

Sounds like the magnetron has failed. This is the component that produces the microwaves that heats the food. The cost of the magnetron is about 95% of the cost of a microwave oven. Most people don't, for this reason, replace the magnetron, they replace the whole oven which is probably what you will end up doing. There is a possibility that the circuit that provides power to the magnetron is faulty and you need to take it apart, find the proper electrical leads and test them with a volt meter. To do this you have to remove it from its mounting and take it apart. It is a fairly lengthy process however. Benjamin
