How long have you had it for? If you had it long enough, then your ion battery is done for and has no more energy.

SanDisk Sansa Express 2 GB MP3 Player (Black), battery status states 14% critically low....what does it mean and what actions should I suppose to do?

You need to charge the battery so you can continue playing your MP3player.
Connect the supplied USB cable into the player and then plug it into the USB port of your computer. The computer will charge up the MP3 player and you can also copy mp3 music and photos etc to the MP3 player.

My sumsung YPK-3 mp3 player does not charge. When I connect to the PC the usual charging screen comes up saying it is connected and is charging. Even after over 5 hours, it did not charge at all and when...

The battery is at fault. The charging circuit is fine as it says CHARGING. As the battery is at fault you may like to as Samsung to replace it if the device is still under warranty. Else replace the battery.

Will not charge--will come on plugged into pc tower, but will not charge

it's charging when plugged into your pc, if it doesn't hold power well you may have a defective battery, plug it in and let it sit for 6-7 hours and see how long the battery holds out. if it doesn't work you have a bad battery.

Sansa Clip won't charge

Here's the thing, technically it doesn't need to be turned on because it's supposed to turn on by itself.

I've had a problem sort of like that. It might be the plug, but it also might be the computer. I'd either suggest try plugging it into another computer or getting a new plug.
