I have a frigidaire gallery wall oven (2003). We set the self cleaning and then canceled. The door is now locked and the fan is running. I tried to reset breaker and it is still locked. How can I get the oven opened?

From my understanding your hit the clean button on your Frigidaire wall oven and now the door will not open. I would hold down the cancel button for at least ten seconds, this should unlock the door. If that does not help I would recommend disconnecting power from your wall oven by flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. I hope this information was helpful to some degree. -Matt

You can perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by disconnecting power from your appliance for roughly ten minutes. If your control panel has a cancel button hold that down and that should release the door. Lift top - there is a quater inch button on the black box behind the door lock - use screwdriver to press the button in - resets

Reset the unit at the household circuit breaker for about 10-15 minutes. Then retry the unit. If no changes occur contact a professional technician, sounds like the door latch and/or control board need repairs.

Open the door and look at the hinges the connect the oven door to the oven body, on each side you will notice a piece that can be moved back and forth without moving the door, roll each side toward the oven body this should be the locked position, now try to close the door and you will notice the hinges lift up. At this time you need to pull up and push forward on the door and both hinges will come out.

and stop the display from beeping. Reprogram the oven. If a fault reoccurs, record the fault
number, push the CANCEL pad and contact an authorized servicer.

Hi, unplug the unit or shut off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes. Plug the unit back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door. Set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for 15 minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door. If these procedures fail to correct the condition, the lock must usually be accessed and moved manually to open the door.
*Note: Some model ovens require the oven door to be manually unlatched before the controls are returned to the OFF position or else the door may not be able to be unlocked. Check the owner's manual for proper operating procedures.

If the lock does not open after the oven has cooled down, then try this: First, unplug the range or shut off the circuit breaker for ten minutes. Have you tried to unpulg it and see if it unlocks

Hello, what to do is to start another self clean cycle let the unit clean for about 3 minutes then push the cancel button.This should unlock the door if not a tech will have to come to advance the lock motor . good luck
