I recently received a Dell W2607C LCD TV from a friend...when I turn the unit on, I get a blue light that appears to be a stand by light. However, there is no picture at all. Please advise.

Check and replace its main power regulator board. It might be faulty. Normally there is no repair to these boards. Card base replacement should be done.

You need to troubleshooting it to narrow down to which board is bad, it can be the power supply board or the backlight inverter baords.

The dell powerboard inside is bad and is verry common in these dell tv sets and the cost to get another one will be expensive around $150-$200 if you can find them.

Check the 27 mhz oscillator on the back of the main board. Resolder of replace it. It causes lots of different blinking amber lights.

Yes,Ur power ic inverter board is dead.
U need a new one.

check the cable who comes from the cpu

Check for a blown fuse.

I have the same problem on my 32 in,after having the Tv on for about 3 hours Tv turns off, every 10-20 min. tv turns off. very upset with DELL. , blue light stays on.... what can i do to fix promblem.......
