How do I stop the unplug-replug pattern after every wash?

have a qualified service tech look at this machine , the blinking start light is a sign theres a fault in the machine , most likely a moisture detector sensing a small leak somewhere

When I turn it on it comes up with F1 I cant do any thing with it cause it comes straight up with that . I have only had it for 17mths

The F1 error usually indicates a serious Washing Machine 'controller' or Logic board malfunctions: your washing machine should still be under warranty or may even be subject to a recall campaign due to a manufacturing flaw. You will need your washing machine details such as model number. serial number, manufacture date and proof of purchase before calling the manufacturer help desk (as your machine is over 12 months old, the reseller will not normally assist but you an always ask them for assistance first).
To see if you have an intermittent controller issue, completely unplug the AC main plug first for say 5 minutes and replug to see if the error resets itself.
Hope it helps.

F1 in time remaining window

Hi,
The "F1" error code on the Whirlpool cabrio is quite common, and generally has to do with the control board. Replacing the control panel may resolve this issue. However, I believe Whirlpool is aware of the F1 issue with the Cabrio, and is fixing some machines for free. Please call 1-800-253-1301 for more details and see if you are eligible for a free repair.

Thank you !!
