When I try to put videos on my player with Windows Media Player, it 'converts' the file. Then when I try to play the video, it says 'unknown file format'. I don't know what formats this player supports or why it does that. Can you help?

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses.
Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX.
If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.
You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track. Here's a link for CCCP, it's a codec pack which should take care of all your needs, I did a quick search to make sure it's still clean of viruses/spyware and it seems it is
This camera uses quicktime. Windows Media Player should play your molvies. If not, try VLC media player. You can burn a dvd that will play on a regular dvd player. Download DVD FLICK which will convert the files into MPEG which play on a dvd player.
No usually media player will not play this type of file it will be a FLV type file format.
You can download some stand alone player to play the fiiles like this.
OR you can also download and install this package, this will allow Media PLayer to play the UTube files as well.
Both works well.
I hope this will help your out.
And IF your problem was solved, kindly do Rate! Regards, WAQAR.
H264 is a "mov." file. Windows media player11 and Power DVD 9 do not support this type of file. If you don't like QuickTime, there are many free media players that will support it (VLC is a good one). You could convert the mov. file to an avi. file with a video converter program. Then your avi. format movie will play in WMP
Suitable file format for your phone are 3gp, mp4, mpg, etc except wmv. WMV files cannot be opened by this model. If you really want to play it on you phone you must convert this file first. i suggest converting it into mp4 or 3gp. It the only way to play the video in your phone.
actually, i think it's an mp3 player...
