Question about Kenwood VR-605 Receiver

1 Answer

Lights out (front panal lsd lights)

Front panal lsd lights no longer light up after the unit was hit ( mother thought the sound was to loud and after a few attempts to shut it down she resorted to punching it) all features still work just no lights. could it be a blown fuse or ......... any help would be great.

thanks for the fast informative feedback. I just powered it up(I had receiver stored for a few months) and after about an hour the lights lit up again. I realize they may go out again but it gave me the Opportunity to re adjust sound settings etc...) :)

I doubt that any fuse blown ot because the unit still works. The LCD panel in these units are very delicate and can easyly break, also there is a small bulb in there that illuminated the backpanl of the LCD. good Luck

Well in that case then there is most likely a bad connection on the board somewhere, probably where the power goes to the front board or LCD.
