I bought a used Bernette Fun Lock 006D but it did not come with a manual. I downloaded the one for the 004 but there must be a difference. Does anyone know where I can bet a manual?
Serger manuals for early machines are really basic.
Thread in order.
upper looper, lower looper, right needle, left needle. (see the inside of the looper cover door.)
Adjust tensions to suit the fabric you are sewing.
If you need to change colors clip threads near the spools and tie on new spools to previous threads and draw threads through an already threaded machine.
Bernina is the brand. But I believe early models of the serger were made by Juki. I've looked for the manual for 006 as well and found thinging. Your only other choice is find someone who has one for sale and ask for a scanned copy.... or order a new one from Bernina or one of the other places that has one.
