How does one change the paper settings so that when making copies, the copies come out "portrait" and not "landscape"? We can't figure it out. Need to know where / how to change page settings on the Canon imageRunner 5055 copier/scanner. Thanks,
Double check paper orientation when you put paper into the feeder and how the paper is loaded.
The orientation of the page in the feeder and the page in the drawer should match.
You may want to check if your paper is loaded in LTR or LTR-R. If you are using 8.5x11 letter size (LTR) try rotating the page and changing it's mode.
Are you copying LTR? Do you have a document feeder? How are you inserting your page into your feeder or aligning the page on the glass? (Where are you positioning the long and short edges of your page?

From what you are asking I'm guessing that you are tring to print to the copier from a computer? If so, you have to go to your printer properties and manually choose "Landscape" instead of "portrait". Also, you have to make sure you have that size paper loaded in your copier. The third paper tray can be set to any paper size. Good Luck
