HP COLOR LASREJET 3500 41.3 ERROR

I was having problems with my printer. it is an hp color laserjet 3500. when i print anything from tray 2 it gives me an error after it prints, it reads 41.3 unexpected size in tray 2. i checked the tray and set it to letter. i also tried a brand new tray and still receive same error. if any body can help out thanks.

Try printing from tray 2 using letter size paper but i got the error message size unknown, even though the paper size at tray 2 is set to letter. printer is hp color laser jet 3600.
check the paper size in the printer driver settings.
this should also be set to letter.

hi ray, it's chris. i called your cell phone, but figured you might see this. replace the registration clutch. after some research, this seems to be the solution given that should solve the issue in that printer, and it's an independant part from the paper pickup assembly...

Paperjams
Sounds like the pick up rollers are worn or dirty.
You can try to clean them with alcohol.
When you pull the tray out the rollers
should be towards the front of the printer.
