Check whether the sound is ok on a headphone, if the TV has the socket. If this is not ok, the problem lies in the sound output section. Some capacitors are leaky/dry and/or power supply to that section is irregular. Needs attention by a qualified service technician.

SOURCE: no sound coming through tv speakers

Hi.

Some Large flat panel tv sets have seperate speakers that clip on to the side of tv set if you got the manual with the tv does it say about seperate speakers.
Or if it does have speakers with the tv set check that the audio frequency is set to your countries transmission frequency.
Example UK is PAL (I) If your not in uk try and find out what yours is.

SOURCE: getting stereo speakers to work with flat panel tv

if you hook the low-level audio-out from the tv to an input to the stereo unit, whatever you play on tv will send audio to surround/stereo reciever unit. look on back of tv for red &white AUDIO OUTPUT terminals. plug red/white audio cables from tv to the back of your stereo & plug into audio input of an open source on stereo (tv/video,aux. in,etc.) good luck!

SOURCE: Sanyo DP46849 composite video input malfunction

Sounds like a damaged port or related circuitry. You could take it to a repair shop if you really want to use that port, wouldn't cost too much

Sanyo,SA-21SA1 Lominous,LA 76818A (jungle IC),standby mode only,ok H-Out.No High Voltage or Oscillation, what components to be check and replace? Thanks.

Check for the oscillation signal at the base terminal of the horizontal output transistor. If it is OK, check and replace the horizontal output transistor. Even though it measure OK, some of them might not function well. Check this. If there is no horizontal drive signal at its base terminal, check and replace the horizontal drive transistor, horizontal driver transformer etc:

Sanyo video vertical lines

There are two possibilities.
1. Deflection yoke mismatch.
2. Shorted component/s at its horizontal oscillator section circuit or at its main power supply regulator [SMPS].

I have the tvee soundbar with wireless sub and the soundbar works fine but my sub just makes a thumping sound like a heartbeat. i have tried moving it, switching frequency channels, different outlets with...

It is not latching on to the soundbar transmitter. Is the locked light on the device turning on.
Wireless devices are sometimes known to drift. Is the sub silent when the soundbar power is off ?. Even then if its making this sound, the subwoofer amplifier is oscillating at very low frequency. You will need professional help and needs to be repaired.

Oscillating table fan makes banging noise when rotating

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like that oscillating swtich is either a little loose or could use a drop or 2 of 3 in 1 oil. Try to twist offf the oscillating swatch button and see if you can tighten it or put a drop of oil on it.

My Sanyo DS32225 worked fine for about 20 hrs.,then NO Picture at all. The sound works fine and it will change channels but not even the menu will come up on screen. Whats up?

they are two things to check, the power supply has a voltage of 90-110volts which triggers a line transformer to oscillate,
firstly check that voltage if that voltage is there then check the line transistor.
