I have kerosene in the tank, plugged it in the wall, have the thermostat turned up, The fan kicks on, but no ignition. Isn't there supposed to be a clicking sound, like an ignitor going, until if fires up?
The main circuit board supplies ac power to the ignitor ( black transformer looking device) and the transformer increases the voltage that is supplied to the sparking device. Make sure the wires are connected to the sparking device and the ends of this device are approximately 3mm apart and that it is in the general position near the end of the nozzle. If you do not hear a "clicking" sound it could be the main board, wires or sparking device.

I ran out of kerosene, now when I try to start up the ignitor come on with a flame, the fan turns on,it blowes smoke then cuts off on its own.Do you have to prime it or is it supposed to do it on its own?
similair problem, should the ignitor transformer be enegized at all times during while running?? or is it supposed to shut off after ignition?
