could be the power supply card(s) is unseated..open it up if you dare and re-seat and/or maybe remove and clean the card edge connector contacts with an eraser
No real specific suggestion but it's likely serious. Very likely in the hi-voltage section and quite possibly the flyback transformer; too expensive to bother with if so.
IT GAVE OUT A LOUD BANG AND NOW I HAVE NO PICTURE OR... Mosfet Transistor blow out. Transistor K3316 or replace the Power unit supply. This problem was caused by a low power voltage.SONY SONY KE-42TS2U
i have the same problem with the noise and the video quality is ****, my friend gave it to me to see if i could fix it, i took it apart and the sound is coming from either an orange thing or a capacitor, could it be an overload capacitor where the sound is a bunch of sparks flying through the dielectric?
