How do I remove the crank bolt on a Tony Hawk Huckjam bike?

I am trying to remove the cranks, in which I understand how to do. But everything I see says remove the crank bolt first and I simply cannot see how that is able to come out. Both sides are threaded and there is no way to pull it.

You need a crank extractor to pry the crank apart. Careful when threading the tool as the valleys and journals of the threads are prone to cross threading, thus stripping the tool.

SOURCE: I can't calibrate Tony hawk

Try turning your WII so that the dongle that comes with the game faces the skateboard. I had that same problem and this solved it.

SOURCE: Cant calibrate tony hawk shred

At last! My Son's Tony Hawk Shred board was one more try from being thown down the garden, as i have been trying since Christmas day, & finally there it was a board i could use. I've followed all bits of advice in a number of differant ways --- here's what worked for me, Turn off at the wall Sky TV, Turn off all lights (only tv turned on), put my crutches in another room (because large metal objects interfere with soft ware), Remove dog from room, Put senser bar on floor, Turn Wii console side on so that Dongle faced away from tv (aiming into centre of room), Place Shred board on floor facing tv/senser at about three feet away. Start process of game set up untill you get to choose a profile, Select profile, press & hold for 5 secs start button on board untill the four blue lights start to flash at a rate of about one flash per sec, then hold on same button untill blue lights flash quickly, then press & hold Dongle button untill Dongle light stays on, with in 2 secs game calibartion instructions start, BEWARE Tony Hawks responce when process starts is as annoying as not being able to get board started. Good luck when up & running it is one Awesome game!

Rear wheel on my tony hawk sypher huckjam bike is locked up

There are a few things that can be wrong, and based on what you said, you probably now have more than one fault. You need to isolate parts to find out what it is. Most of the of these checks can be done almost instantly without removing anything. The chain will get in the way - you won't need to remove it though.
  1. Remove the wheel from the bike and check the freewheel. It should be moving freely in one direction and locked up in the other
  2. Check the rear derailleur - is the chain running freely though it. If not, check the chain line and make sure the small sprockets are free spinning.
  3. Check the chain line though the front end. Is the chain clear of the derailleur and sitting properly on the chain ring.
  4. Spin the pedals and check the bottom bracket is not jammed up somehow. check the pedals and cranks are properly aligned and attached to the bottom bracket.

Im having a problem alighning the handle bars on my hammer jack how can i tighten them up?

The gooseneck, which is the piece that attaches directly to the handlebars.
If you look at it, you will see It has one bolt that doesn't clamp the bars to it. Tightening that bol will keep make yout handlebars stay aligned with your forks.

How do I remove a crank arm from a Huffy Mountain bike?

You will need to purchase a crank puller. If you only have to do this once you are better off having it repaired in a bike shop unless you like to have tools for everything. They come in various sizes so you will have to tell the dealer which one you need and for what bike. It works like a gear puller. You remove the cap covering the bolt. You remove the bolt or nut holding the crank on and screw the puller into the threads on the crank. You then tighten the bolt that goes through the center of the puller. It puts pressure on the bolt in the center of the crank and forces the crank off. Hope this helps.

Installed new chain on nakamuru 21 spd now chain seems to want to skip when under load at rear sprocket

They are called coggs if they are at the rear, and sprockets at the front. What has happened is your old chain has worn dwn the metal on the rear coggs and there is'nt enough metal for the new chain to grab on to. You need a new coggset or a new freewheel
