No audio, cannot remove banner "safe drivivg" accross screen.
I have a double din radio with no sound everything works on it but no sound...i can hook my other radio back up & every thing works great..can i get some help plz....
This sounds like a setting found in the OPTIONS or SETTINGS portion of your MENU. As the "Safe Driving" banner implies, the voice has been muted. I use a TOM-TOM system which has voice adjusting capabilities. Most likely someone found the voice annoying and shut it down or someone did not want you to be distracted by the voice feature.
This is a little thing to fix and if you can not reprogram it, a BMW Dealer may do a Courtesy fix to build a Relationship with you.
I hope my solution is helpful.

Yes the banner was a matter of understanding the system (written in chenglish) and switching it off. However the AUDIO was due to an on board AMPLIFIER located behind left wall of rear seats (BMW E46 CONVERTIBLE ) which after replacing worked OK. No mention of amplifier in BM handbook.Took a great deal of research to rectify the problem with absolutely NO SUPPORT FROM WITSON. The result looks A1with good results from DVD player and Nav, BT is fair, USB, iPhone & SD card are ok, however Radio AM & FM are terrible with a muffled off tuning sound and TV is non existent ( the antenna they supply is cheap and nasty). The unit could be outstanding with minor tweaks but as it is, it's a waste of money, better buy a brand name with support and proven performance.
