95 ford explorer, turn singal relay location

I can't find the turn singal relay, my haynes book shows for a 95 ford explorer that its under the dash to the right of the stearing column, I found a relay box there but it was a group of 7 relays not what they show in the book, the book shows two large relays, and the truck manual does not indacate these are turn singal relays. and the auto part stores do not sell a turn singal relay, just the lever on the column. my problem is no turn singals no emr flashers, but all light are working. no clicking when turn singals are applied. the book says its the relay. However I can't find it to fix it?

SOURCE: Turn Signal Flasher location in 93 Mustang GT

The flasher is a small round plastic cylinder (unless replaced with a metal one) behind the left edge of the glove box that will look similar to the one in the fuse panel. The first step is to squeeze gently both sides of the open glove box and let it swing downward. It will be snapped into a metal horizontal brace just to the left of the glovebox opening by a small tab and have two wires attached. The number more than likely will be a #552 although I have seen a factory one with a Warner #224

SOURCE: where is the door lock relay located on a 1999

  • Aux Relay Box #4 is in the rear driver's side removable panel with the tire jack.
  • This Relay box holds the Door Lock / Unlock relays (ice cube type). It also holds the Driver Door Unlock Relay and the ACC Lights Relay (rectangular relays).

2003 ford explorer sport blinker dont blink on the dashboard... How do I fix it??

if the bulbs on outside are ok, and it will not flash on dash and stays completely lite up. replace the turn signal flasher. Look under the steering column and locate the fuse box. The fuse box is under the plastic kick panel. Under the panel is a yellow case that holds the turn signal relay. Test that this is the relay by turning it on and placing a finger on the relay. You should be able to feel the relay clicking. Pull the relay from the socket and plug a new one back in. Reattach the kick panel and start the Explorer. good-day !

Ac/heater blower not working 1996ford explorer

In there you have four devices to check out to pin point the problem: the switch it's self, the blower relay switch, resistor block, and the blower motor it's self.

I find this information in the Haynes Repair Manual and from another Ford Forum:
Electric diagram shows the blower motor relay in the, "Blower/Flasher Relay Block". I inquired at another forum regarding the location of referenced block. The response was either in the Power Distribution Box under the hood or part of the Generic Electronic Module (GEM) probably located behind the fuse box at the lower driver side dash.

The blower relay and the flasher relay both share the same block, the flasher is blue and the blower is black, and are the same size. There is a plastic cover (snap on) over them which ia about three inches long and about two inches wide. The block is attached to an "L" shaped bracket, which is attached to the dash support by two screws. The only panel I had to take off was the lower dash panel under the steering wheel. Once the panel is off the bracket is about six inches to the right of the steering wheel braces and four inches left of the cigar lighter. If you take out the two screws on the brace facing you the block will swing down and out. Then you have easy access to the relays.

Also could try to check this section on the Repair Manual.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

84 celica supra doesnt get any power to the power windows. I have two repair books, but both books tell me nothing about were the fuze or relay is for the power windows.

My information is from a Haynes manual for toyota celica supra 1979-1992. the wiring diagram on page 12-31 shows that the "gauge" fuse controls the window power relay. There is also a 30A "power" circuit breaker that feeds power through the relay. The gauge fuse is located under a panel on the left side of the dash on 1982-1986 models. The power window relay is located under the driver's side dash in a "kick" panel fuse box on the left outboard sidewall. The 30A "power" circuit breaker could be located in one of the two aforementioned places, in a fuse block on the passenger's side kick panel, or there is a "specialty" fuse block under the hood next to the air flow meter---the manual isn't clear on the exact location. If you can find the 30A power c.b. you may be able to reset it by pulling it out and pushing a paper clip wire through the reset hole. Reinstall and see if you get power.

Where is the turn signal flasher on a 95 gmc 1500 pick up

There are 2 Flasher Relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. Both flasher relays are located on the driver's side, under the dash, mounted in the fuse panel. Make sure you replace the correct one.

My hazzardlights or turn singals do not work and i do not know which of the relays it is to replace. does anybody know which relay that is

If the flasher unit went bad, they are usually located up under the dash adjacent to the steering column. You can get a replacement unit at any parts store. Just find it, unplug it, and plug in the new one. Hope this helps and good luck.
