Question about KitchenAid Architect Series KEBC278KSS Electric Double Oven
OVENS ARE LESS THAN SIX MONTHS OLD. WHEN IN OPERATION AND AFTER PRE HEATING, A NOISE STARTS THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GRINDING NOISE. OR....IT STARTS WHEN I TURN THE OVEN OFF. IT HAS STARTED IN THE LAST THREE WEEKS.
I had same problem on similar KitchenAid model (combo microwave/oven), and it was past warranty. The noise is the blower that is used to circulate air inside the unit. We ended up fixing it ourselves, took oven out of cabinet, removed the backing (tin), and found that the blower blade unit is fairly low quality. We took it apart and found that the "axel" that holds the blades on had slipped from the hole. We put it back in, and then crimped a piece of wire around the end to hold it in place. Since then (16 months ago) no further problems.

Tips for a great answer:
Thank you for your inquiry, friend!
Based off the information you have provided your Electrolux oven is not heating properly. I would recommend performing a reset on your range which you can do by disconnecting power from it for ten minutes. If that does not help to correct your issue it could be a faulty element or control panel. I understand your range is only six months old typically the warranty for a range is one year. I would contact the manufacturer for proper resolution regarding a warranty. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
