Copier is showing warming up but will not start

Copier is showing "warming up" but will not start. I cannot copy or fax anything. I can print from the computer and receive incoming faxes but I cannot fax out. When I hit the energy saver button up in the left handside where normally it will show copy of fax it is just showing warming.

My Workio DP-150 is in constant warming mode. The fuser is hot, very hot, to the touch. It does not send or receive faxes. When you attempt to copy, it just beeps. No amount of resetting will take it to ready. Any suggestions??? Thanks. Gary

The fuser unit has ceased to heat...it has a bad heater. the fuser is a hollow metal roller that usually has a powerful light inside to heat the metal. a continuity test can detect

The fuser is not warming up. You will need a new one. Not easy to fit so best have an engineer do it.

How do I set up on my printer to connect fax

Dear
Pl. connect the CO(telephone line) to the socket marked as LINE.
from the key board there is FAX switch select it.
To send a fax load the document face upward, if ADF is used or face downward at platen glass, press SPK or OHD or phone as marked on the key board get the audible dial tone, dial the required fax no. get the fax tone press START. If the display shows sending then alright. If display show !-SENDING,2-RECEIVING, then press the corresponding digit.

I have a used canon gp200s copier/fax. there is an error light on next to the fax button and it won't let me copy anything- it always starts in fax mode. any suggestions? Stan

press the fax switch and see what kind of error it is showing there after a solution can be possible.

Muratec F-300 is not used for faxing, but will not copy either.

Download (FREE) the operators manual from Muratecs web site.
www.muratec.com
Make sure you are in the COPY mode(not FAX.) before trying to make a copy. As the F-300 is a "fax" machine, it will probably be in the fax mode as default.
The downloaded operators manual will help.

I would like to add printer capabilities to my copy machine.

When you press the botton on the control that show print or scan, does it say that the copir is not equipited this funcation. If so, it will most likely cost a lot more then the whole copier is worth. The same goes with the fax funciation as well. You can most likely buy another copier with the print feature already installed. I'm sorry to say it, but you copier is out of date for printing to be afforadable

Cannot receive faxes or do copies

If you still have your old cartridge reinstall it that will tell you if it is the cartridge or not. If you still have the problem,it could be the encoder.
