On a Fuji camera, the little "camera icon" looks like it is "shaking" with an "apostrophe" next to is to signify a low light condition and shows up when the flash is turned off. A bad symbol choice in my mind but so be it.

When I turn my FUJI FINEPIX S5000 on the excessive hand shake warning shows on the display The camera will not take photos and there is nothing to be seen through the viewfinder

Take it to your local service centre - sounds as if there is a glitch in the electronics. I presume you have followed all the troubleshooting advice in the manual, including performing a reset?

Shaking camera symbol with exclaimation point icon won't go away?

Manual says slow shutter speed. You can adjust this by going to "S" on the dial. However it could also be that your ISO setting is too high therefore restricting shutter speed. Set ISO to 400 auto - a good all round setting.

Fuji FinePix S9500 has a blank viewer & lcd screen, it has powered up but nothing is being displayed in either.

This took me a bit, in fact I needed to got to one of my Fujifilm cameras to see if I could duplicate what I was thinking the problem could be. So here goes. There is a small button on the back body just off the lower right side of the LCD screen it has Disp/Back written on it. What I'm saying is that this button has been pushed to give a blank screen which will affect both the viewfinder and the LCD. To get to that point I had the camera in Manual mode ISO at 100 and the lens cap on. The aperture was set for F9 and the shutter at 1/60th. My camera has a "shake" icon so in Auto and program there was the shake icon on the LCD screen it also showed in the "A" mode as well. Now that said my version of your camera may be a few models ahead, your camera may not have the camera shake feature or icon. In short I think you have pressed the "Disp/Back" button and changed the view mode.

Shaking camera warning? Lately I keep getting a red warning picture in the lower left corner of my display. The nearest I can tell is its a camera with some curved lines next to the lower corners of the...

You need to go into the menu and go to the menu with a camera as the icon. Scroll until you find "IS mode". You can choose various settings but the best is "Continuous". That way, your camera always compensates for camera shake.

Hi I have a fuji finepix camera. On the display screen there is a yellow icon of a camera with an exclaimation mark and vibration marks. Please explain what this is and how I get rid of it. Thanks

basically it means the camera is finding it hard to focus as there is not enough light. Set the camera to automatic and turn on your flash. when you put the flash on the yellow camera icon should disappear and you will see the picture in the viewfinder is a lot sharper. I have the same camera and had the same problem. Turning on the flash solved it.

When i turn my camera on there is a small yellow camera icon with an exclamation point beside it. Can you tell me what this is a code for?

That is a camera shake warning. Use a steady base to support the camera when taking the picture or use the flash.

Images are blurred

Blurred images can have different reasons. Greasy lens, camera shake or focus error.
You can clean a greasy lens with a lens-cleaner solution and lens-paper.
Camera shake will (most likely) only occur on images taken without the flash. Most likely there will be a warning on the display if risk of shake. it's a hand with an "!". Focus error will usually also give a warning in the display.

I suppose you've already turned the dial? Yea, on my camera there's dial ontop to turn to select the display mode, and then I turn it to the "shoot" mode, its usually a camera icon.
