Media Receiver I have Pioneer Plasma TV (PDP-4340HD) with a very loud Media Receiver, sometimes it drowns out a low volume. It doesn't appear to be the fan, but it sounds like a motor. I have the set hooked up to a Sony surround sound system and not the speakers to the TV. Please help it's getting very annoying.

There should be fans inside this unit too. open the top cover and see where the noise is comming from. I am sure you will find it. Good Luck

Pioneer media receiver won t turn on

If the light on the media reciever doesn't come on then the power supply in that needs to be replaced by a service tech. If you disconnect the 2 cables from the media reciever and the panel and then try to turn on the panel it should light with red and green squares for a few seconds but will turn off as it needs the media reciever to be connected.

Can I use media receiver PDP-R04U with PDP-436PU display?

You need the pioneer media cables hooked up to the media receiver to the plasma unit itself. each end has 2 different plugs. one has 2 thumb screws and the other is a squeezable end that clicks into place. They MUST be on before you plug in any power what so ever!!!! And yes, other information is being passed through.

Why will pioneer elite pro-930hd display not power up The media center stand-by led flashes red. When I disconnect that from the display and plug the display into an outlet, only a loud noise is emitted from the back of the display and the display LED does not glow red or blue. The screen remains black.
