It was fine last night when I turned if off. Tried to turn it on this mornint and nothing happened except clicking on and off, but no picture. Tried it again and it clicks on three times but no sound or pictuture. Is it worth getting it fixed or should I invest in a new one.

This is a common problem for this set, The flyback transformer is bad and L4101 needs to be resoldered. Still like "profane" said, it will cost you almost as much to repair this tV set as a new one will. Good Luck

If this is a crt it is most likely not worth the repair specially considering the size of the set. Most parts for them cost more then the tv itself sorry for the bad news if its not a crt then thats a different story

I have the same tv. Was watching last night when it turned itself off. When I tried turning it back on the switch just made a click noise and nothing happened. After a couple more tries, it didn't even do that.
Unplug the TV for maybe 10 minutes, then turn it on. Sometimes these units simply need to recycle. If that doesn't work, you've likely got serious problems.
i hear a clicking noise- the clicking noise is most likely you ballast trying to power the lamp, but failing. this may indicate a defective ballast if you have recenty purchased a new lamp.I recomend you have your lamp tested to help narrow down the cause of the defect. It's highly unlikely for a new lamp to be dead on arrival
If the picture looked good last night
then the Tube is fine. The problem is
Power suply . I think there great tvs.
Made to last .a fair price for repair
is about 80.00-100.00
I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.
