MP3 Ok. I've just bought a motorola V360 and i've been trying to put songs on the phone. I just bought a 512 memory card which came with headphones and a USB cable. I plugged the USB cable from the computer to my phone and a box came up.It asked me to install this program, there was 2 options (recommended and advanced). So i chose recommended. Now i used to have an mp3, and there was a folder in MyComputer called E:Drive that i put all my songs in. Now with this phone i think the folder is supposed to be called Removable Disk or something like that. And there is no folder to which i can put my songs into. I tried unistalling the program and try advanced, but the box didn't show up after unistalling it and plugging the phone back in. If you could give me some advice on what to do that would be GREEAAATTT.

Hey if that doesnt work try this... Make sure you have nothing on your 512 card. Settings, phone status, storage devices, menu button on the card, then format... It will work but it will delete everything on the card if there waas anything..which there wasnt supposed to be. I hope this works.

Hello Burr !! my name is M-zed. i think i hev a solution. you should try going to ur phone settings, then to "connectivity", there you will find two options : sync & usb. choose usb then you will find another two options : data fax connections & memory card. select memory card. now you can connect it again to the PC using your usb cable & you will observe that it does not ask for installation then you can find the removable disk icon on "my computer". this way you can send mp3 files to your memory card, then copy or move them to your phone.

The music in my motorola rival isn't being recognized

I found out a couple things on this. 1) try their web site, it helps. 2) you need 3 folders on your micro sd a) my_music b) my_pix c) my_flix. Their web page has the WRONG NAME...so use the ones above. Drag and drop the MP3's directly into this folder - DO NO PUT ALBUM FOLDERS in there, it doesn't work.

Are you using Micro SD transflsh memory??
Format the Card on the PC using FAT, after that use a CARDREADER and put these folders on the card: MOBILE and in the mobile folder put audio, video, kjava, picture, temp! Shutdown your Motorola, remove the backcover and plug-in the card! After that Start Your Motorola and copy a file from the mobile's memory on the CARD! It should work!

Update V3T digital audio player

Sometimes its a size limit issue. I know my phone does freeze up or restart with either too many programs using up the memory or too many songs, pictures, etc. on there. Try removing some on there. If that fixes the problem them you are in the clear. If not, then there might be something internal going wrong with your set. Possibly a defective card reader..
