Missing battery door.

you can try doing a search on one of them auctions sites. its pretty hard to find just the battery door anywhere else. good luck

ok get some wd40 or switch cleaner and give the handel bar switches a good socking give the cut out switch a good going over this switch is most likle to be the one playing you up,,dont try to strip the switch down its full of tiny little bits that will go PING!!! and you will loos them then?

i would start by checking all the fuses first then make sure the battery connections are on correctly and are also clean and tight, you may have a bad starter but you should be getting power to headlights and dash lights, if theres no power anywhere but the rear door then theres a bad fuse somewhere, but if the headlights work and brake lights and dash lights and the heater blower motor all work then you may have a bad starter, make sure to have the key on when checking these things.

If the motor is running but the chain isn't moving you have a stripped drive gear. Remove the cover from the motor unit and check. It should be obvious.

Is it on the edge of the door?

Best place to locate everything you need all in one place is a scrapyard. If you can find one that has been hit in the rear the stuff you need likely will be intact but the yard won't hesitate to part with it because the skin is bad.

Check the small back switch under the battery door. If it is missing, your camera will not power on. If it is missing, dig out the small spring inside the switch housing. If the switch is missing, the spring is making an unwanted connection. If the switch is there, then you have a bad circuit board. It will need a replacement board.
