Model: electrolux ESF 6162
It seems there is a problem with draining in my dish-washer. As a result it does not work. I can choose a washing program and start it, but it does not start washing. Instead it looks like the maschine attempts to drain the water from the dishwasher and cannot do it. As a result approximately in 5 minutes the dishwasher starts showing a flashing indicator light as described below.
According to dishwasher's instruction book, if there is a continous flashing of the indicator light of the running programme and in the digital display appears .20 it means that the dishwasher will not drain.
The instruction book says that two causes are possible. One is that the sink spigot is blocked. Another is that the water drain hose has not been correctly laid or it is bent or squashed.
I checked the sink spigot and it seems it is ok.
Checked the water drain hose connection and again it seems to be ok.
And the problem persists...
Just in case here is additional information: we use the dishwasher for 1.5 years. We only cleaned the filters several times. May be some other maintanance works must have been performed...
I would appreciate any advice very much.

Re: have a trouble: dish-washer will not drain.
Bear in mind first program action is drain but at this point there should be only a small amount of liquid in machine.check spigot is free by pouring a little water down it. blow thro drain hose to check free as well - you can get a fat blockage in drain hose. if both are free you may have a blockage in exit to pump.the only other maintenaince is to use a dishwasher 2-3 times a year

do you use powder detergent--if so it could be clay mud from undissolved powder
it it is fluff or other organic material , you may try an organic drain cleaner or possible a caustic solution cleaner if the organic doesn't work
you can check for blocked drain and pump bu lowering then drain hose to floor level
if the tub drains out freely , it will nor be a blockage but a pump problem
I understand that you want to know where the drain pump is located on your Electrolux washer, model# AWF 1435. In researching the model number you provided, I show that this was manufactured in France. I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly, for further assistance. They should be able to tell you where the drain pump is located in your appliance. Hope this is helpful.
I see that your Electrolux washer, model# EWFLS70JSS, is having trouble draining. First, I would start by checking the drain hose, to make sure there are no kinks in it and it is not clogged. Secondly, I would make sure that the drain hose is between 6-8 inches down inside the drainpipe. If it is too far inside the drainpipe, it can cause slow or no drainage. Thirdly, I would make sure that the drainpipe is not clogged. Finally, I suggest resetting your washer. You will do this by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. When the power is restored, run a wash. If your washer is still experiencing a no drainage issue, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Hope this is helpful.
Does the water drain out at all if not then this is certainly a blockage in the drain pump and the dish washer will normally have to come out to get at drain pump the normal access to pump is through the base will have to tip unit on its back and remove base plate if it has one.Do check in bottom of internal filter for debris but it seems as if it has got into pump and stopping it turning.Hope this helps.I dont recognise the model number,is it correct.
I had the same issue (Electrolux ESF 6251). I had both error codes 10 and 30. I found that the short hose connecting the inlet valve (solenoid) to the tank was cracked. That explained error code 30, but even after replacing the hose I still got error code 10. I checked water supply and also drain hose and filters. I realized that I had recently tried to flush out lime scale and suspect that the drain or pump had lines could have clogged up. I tried pumping into the floor drain inside the dishwasher (removed the filter cartridge and screen) simply with a suction cup like you use in the kitchen sink. Voila. Now it works again...
I had the same problem and it was solve by checking the food disposal were the dish washer is usually attached for draining, if you resently replaced the disposal it could be that the drain hold was never openned. I hope this helps
