Need BIOS Settings for Gateway 3520GZ. Wont reconize Harddrive.?

First - re-seat the harddisk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot andgo into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If itdoesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty. Then the hard drive needsto be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer orlaptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioningcomputer/laptop again.

Switched a vista hd to a xp hd and windows will not open

You can't do that, it just won't work. A hard drive with XP installed on it will be unrecognizable to a PC with vista already installed on it. You can either backup your XP drive by putting it into a compatible XP computer. Or you can buy on of these, which are handy. This let's you get the data to your new PC thru a USB connection.

IBM ThinkPad T40: the problem is the following Modem HSP56 MR( Intel) doesnot work, Other devices:Nework Controller and unknown device doesn't work

Windows is missing the "device-drivers" for your network adapter and your modem.

On a different computer, access IBM's ThinkPad web-site, and download those device-drivers for your T40. Copy the device-drivers to either a CD-writable or to a USB memory-stick.

Move the media to your T40, and install from that removable media.

Hi There, My IBM T40 Think Pad keeps on losing connection with hard disk frequently, Before i tried to remove it & Reattached it again & it has worked, But now it's not helping any...

If the hard-drive is losing connection even after removal you should test to make sure that the drive is still functioning.
Try to see if your system has an on-board diagnostic, (f12 on startup, before the windows loading screen) this will tell you if the hard-drive itself is actually broken, or if it is just a connection.
