Bosch Nexxt series 100 place clothes in machine start add detergent as always machine begins to add water for about 30 seconds then stops , sometimes stops and sounds like it is trying to drain sometimes just stops and won't unlock door even if you turn machine off. Sometimes if you switch from hot to cold washer will work just fine for a couple of days then back to just stopping.

during transport there are fittings installed to prevent damage to the machine. The shaft may have got bent but before panic sets in try to check 1. that there is a gap between the mahine and units
2. that the unit is leveled.
SOURCE: The water won't drain from my Bosch Nexxt 500
I solved the problem by using a sump pump to drain most of the water, then I removed the cover plate on the lower front right of the machine to get access to the drain plug. Upon removing that, some water flowed out but not too much, I found a sock jammed in there which wasn't allowing the drain or spin cycle to work properly.
Interestingly, the machine's manual says that the cover plate is only to be removed by a Bosch authorized service repair representative. Saved about $150 by simply doing this myself.
I had this problem. I tried to interupt a cycle just after it started and then couldn't start the cycle again, with the E27 code coming up.
e27 refers to a problem with the door locking mechanism which could be due to a number of causes. The problem I had was with the solenoid in the door, not a genuine problem with the door latch mechanism.
Here is how I fixed it:
(1) Set knob to off
(2) Hold down spin selector and Allergy rinse buttons and turn the knob to the LEFT (right does not work)
(3) The display then shows a number of program codes P01 to P14. (Pressing spin selector rotates through the codes).
(4) Press spin selector until you reach P02 on the display, then press the start button, the door will click and the machine will begin a cycle.
(5) Turn the knob to OFF, and then you should be able to use the machine as normal.

It is just the knob that spin and doesnt allow me to select a cycle now. It used to click as you would turn it past each program. At first there were 3 cycles that it would "catch"on and now it just freely spins around.
I have this exact same problem. Following some of the information in the replies I was able to take the control panel apart and remove the selector knob. The soft plastic shaft is rounded off so it won't engage the timer. Called Bosch and they won't sell just the knob, you have to purchase the complete control panel face for $200. Currently I whittled down a stick to use. Works just fine! I will be searching for something a little better.
Could you give me more info on how to use a stick in place of that selector knob? Mine is spinning and won't engage and I was quoted $483 to replace the whole control panel...on a barely 3 year old machine!
how do you take the control panel apart?
