Hello I have a Toshiba 2060 copier that when I turn it on it keeps saying "adding toner" I have replaced toner cartridge twice, I also have checked to see if the gear that turns toner cartridge is broken and if it turns. I am thinking it could be the toner sensor if it has one. Please help me figure out what the problem is; and let me know if I is a part or part number. I thank you so very much.

This link would allow you to get the service manual for your copier (if you dont mind paying $10.79) http://www.justmanuals.com/product_info.php?cPath=94&products_id=5317&osCsid=1e2cbd0fe0d1e9b355bf78602f2ce2fc and this link gives you a complete list of the error codes for your copier; http://www.visualhawk.vcc.ro/toshiba_error_codes_en.html It does sound as if the copier could have a fuser or thermistor problem, find a local toshiba copier dealer here; http://www.eid.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/mqlocator?link=find and hopefully they will help - sorry had no luck finding a definite solution Hope this helps, please post again if not :)

Empty old toner

Open front cover of your 2060. Inside the copier, on the left side, there is a blue lever labeled "A". Press lever "A" towards the left while pushing down on the top of copier....this will unlatch the **** shell and allow the upper portion to lift upward. The waste (used) toner container is located in the center of front frame (semi-clear plastic). Lift upward on container until it clears the frame, CAREFULLY pour the contents into a plastic lined trash can. Replacement is reverse of removal.
