Question about Panasonic NN-C994S Convection/Microwave Oven
All of a sudden when I started my microwave oven .I found no power indicator in display and nothing is there. On checking power side I found everything ok and also there is voltage coming . so I switch off after opening cover for inspection I cannot find any burning component , all is brand new condition, oven is 4 yrs old and sparingly used; ONly after I switch off supply from socket .I notice there is back voltage at terminal of plug top indicating some built up charge when the oven was connected and same appeared back after switching off (this is mentioned just to indicate for some clue in locating fault)
On front panel there is alow voltage transformmer the primary side isopen circuit replace

Thanks can u email me link for circuit diagram layout so that i can located this transformer, I can see transformer (brown colour) fixed on circuit board of display. Is that the one. is there any way to first see whether voltage is coming to primary side? You mean replace transformer or first to check other component on primary side.Your guidance will be helpful please
Further to my reply .I wish to update that I opened PCB with transformer from rear side of Front display board.
I checked Primary it has 240 volts and also secondry all voltages viz-30 v etc are there .Pl note that from this board a connector jumper gets connected to other board )there are two PCS laid on back to back )which has micro swithes/ push button and LED display and other control button which are operated from front viz. time/temp/selection of oven etc etc
What should I do next as there is no display at all ?
I REPLACED THE TRANSFORMER BUT ALWAYS ONCE AGAIN PRIMARY BECAME OPENED. ON THIS TRANSFORMER P1 AND P2 TERMINALS ARE IN FACT LOOPED WITHIN TRASNFORMER HENCE I SHORTED THIS TERMINAL AND MICRO STARTED WORKING BUT I WANT TO ASK IS IT CORRECT TO DO SO? WHY THIS P1 AND P2 IS GETTING OPENED , IS IT DUE TO OVERLOAD ??
WHAT TYPE OF PROTECTION TRASNFORMER HAS INHERENT??
KINDLY GUIDE ME
