My starview box has gone down 10/02/2010 (VM), can`t even get bbc etc. I would be very grateful for a solution.

Try factory reset and scan again. Turn emu on after scan.

My starview box has gone off wen you turn it on it goes to boot for a few secs then ld80 for a few secs then off completely i know there is power because the starview page is on the tv but nothing else

did you flash with the correct firmware take it out make sure you have the latest firmware if you have factory reset the box then reload the correct firmware make sure your box is not a clone if it is then put the clone firmware on or this will brick the box

Starview box 1 or 2 not sure which. is dead. was working but must have gave it a bad flash and now it will not even turn on

It's dead. If there's no fuse to change either take it in for repair or buy a new one. (a repair would probably cost more than a new one)

If there is no light on then its either the box has blown? have you tried the fuse? there have been no codes for any boxs lately..but that would not have any bearings on the power light
