Most likely a power spike occurred and if you are lucky it blew a fuse inside of the TV. You will have to dismantle the back of the unit and look for the fuse on the circuit board. It will be most likely a ACG type fuse. You can get replacements at your nearest Radio Shack.

Had a power outage and tv was on when power came back on , heard a pop , now tv has no sound ?

If you have one of the newer flat screen TV sets; power the TV off and then unplug the set from the wall outlet for a couple of minutes and then plug the TV set back in and then power it back up. Lots of newer flat screens have a power supply system that will not reset properly after a voltage spike or a power outage that is a short duration. By unplugging from the wall outlet and letting the power supply drain all the way to a zero (0) setting it usually resets ok when you power it back up. good luck, Dennis

Viore tv won't power up after power outage.

I would first test the outlet. Unplug the TV and plug in your vacuum or other loud or bright object. Turn on test object - if there is no operation, then you have a tripped circuit breaker. Find the electrical panel ( Grey box mounted into a wall, usually in a closet). Find the tripped breaker ( typically the switch will be halfway between on and off, and many have a red indicator by the switch base). Turn switch to off fully, then back to on.
Retest outlet.
If still no power to outlet, unplug everything from that outlet and call an electrician - there may be a serious problem with the wiring!
Hope this helps!!

We are have power outage and we can't get our 50"

Have you tried unplugging the TV from the wall for 5 minutes?

Also have you tried plugging something else into the outlet to verify that the outlet works?

Can not turn on TV since power outage yesterday.

You may have to ensure that the power outlet is ok. Try the TV on another power outlet. If it does not work, the TV might need servicing.

After a momentary power outage Panasonic LCD TV has a flashing red light and will not turn on.

Try using a different outlet, the outlet or the tv may have been damaged in the surge. In the case of the tv contact the manufacturer and see if it's still under warranty. There may also be a way to 'reset' the tv by holding the power button down, try looking in the manual or calling customer support. In the future use a surge protector, many of today's electronics are still sensitive to power surges, older tv's were more resilliant than today's in this regard.

Microwave has no power

Is the outlet ok? Can you plug somethng else into the outlet to see if the fuse or breaker controlling the outlet is ok? If there is power at the outlet, unplug the unit and remove the outside cover.
Look for a blown fuse on the motherboard. Replace it with the EXACT value of the original fuse. You can purchase a new fuse at Radio Shack or hardware store or auto parts store. Try powering up the unit again and see if it works now or whether the fuse blows again. If it blows again, the power supply may have been damaged. Was this a power outage or surge? Was anything else in your home affected?

No channel signal is found in searching tv channels (15LW1R)

Sometimes a power surge or outage will wipe all the presets. (Don't you just hate that?) Put a surge protector on the outlet before you reset the system.

TV making chirping sound when plugged into power outlet. There was a power outage and now the tv is just chirping. I did open it up just to see if any fuses were blown and the only fuse I could find...

If one of the secondary supplies is shorted, the power supply will "chirp" when plugged in. This is the power supply's way of protecting itself and this usually happens when the horizontal output transistor is shorted. The only real problem I find with front AV jacks is that they crack loose from the board, because they are subjected to the extra stress of the AV jacks being constantly plugged in and unplugged.
