I start the dishwasher and it does nothing and lights do not turn on either

Take it back to shop

I am doing all this and nothing! No lights turn on briefly, no short cycle begins..nothing. It will work 1 cycle then not a cycle, I have reset with turning off breaker, using the key sequence above, thought it was a drain issue, replaced the hoses. And here we are machine is not even a year old yet. Help

Sounds like a drain motor startup capacitor, or stuck pump. Try disconnecting power and turn the water pump manually. Some disassembly required. Then after a few good hand spins replug and try again.

1)check any fuse had gone in electronic board.
2)check the input voltage to pcb.(normal)

It sounds like you have "locked" the dishwasher. This was an added feature that most people never wanted since it only seems to be set by accident.

Try pressing the 3 second button and holding it down for at least three seconds. This should turn the light off. Drove us nuts the first time it happened. If it doesn't turn off then I guess it is broken.

It sounds like a bad control board or timer assembly.

As a general rule, if there is a problem with an interlock switch on the door or flood switch, the unit won't even start.

Try turning the power off to the dishwasher, wait a few minutes and turn it back on, then try again. If no luck, the board/timer sounds like the problem.

These parts are replaceable, but if the dishwasher is over 10-12 years old, it not be worth the repairs. Get estimates first.

Hmmm...don't know why this worked, but it did. When the lights were flashing when I tried to start my Frigidaire dishwasher model#FDB1500LF, nothing would happen...just blinking lights, so I went to the house electrical panel, found the switch for the dishwasher, turned off & on again, and now the dishwasher works.
Go figure.

I just read this for the same problem: push sanitize, then heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, cancel, then open and close the door. It worked. The dishwasher is running correctly even as I type this.
