I would recommend that you do that. I use an air mattress when I go camping. I also have one that does not require inflation for use when I'm going backpacking. Keeps you off the ground and smooths uneven terrain. I won't go camping without one.

Can you catch up on sleep on the weekend by taking a sleeping tablet and just sleeping a lot more than you do during the week?

No - if you sleep a lot more on the weekend, it's a sign that you have a sleep debt and your body is trying to get more sleep than usual. But it doesn't help your body to feel less tired. You need to spread out your sleeping over the whole week and not try and cram it all into one night.

What product removes mildew odor from a memory foam pad for a sleeping bag?

You can look up standard remedies for washing out mildew, and you can phone Big Agnes, but I would not be happy about sleeping on it in any case, and recommend replacement. Tough choice because it is not cheap, but I am never sure how thoroughly mildew (mold) can be cleaned and you don't want to breathe it.

What should I do with my bag after a trip?

Whenever you're done using a sleeping bag, unzip it completely and air-dry it for a day. If weather permits, spread your bag outside or hang it inside out on the clothes line so it can soak up some sun. Clean, dry air and sunshine help keep your bag sanitary and fresh-smelling.in addition try not to wash it often.
