U may find them awkward to use, then after use, you need to rinse it & store it. I have learned over the years that a good squat position was much easier then the funnel. And don't forget to bag ur toilet paper & haul it out with u . Put it in a ziplock bag & dispose of it when u get back into civilization .
Urinefunnels for camping are not very expensive. You can buy them for around $10.They are re-usable but I would definitely suggest that you each have your ownas it's not the kind of thing you share with friends!! Here's a link to a sitethat sells them

I'll advise you to get the lightweight camping chair; it's easily folded into every backpack and it's very lightweight which will make you carry much less weight during your hike.
