Please help me.. I tried to readdress my remote for tv1 and it didn't work. My problem is, remote for tv 2 works for both of my tv's now. I put the receiver in dual mode and remote 1 nor the receiver will let me press system info or menu. Can't even turn it off. I don't know what I did wrong. When I put it in single mode the remote for tv 1 works but I can't change channels on tv 2 in the bedroom. I have to watch what is playing on tv 1. Same thing happens when I put it in dual mode. Whatever I am watching in the living room is the same as the bedroom. Can anyone please help? Thank you
Hi Tracy, my name is Mike Houston a Social Media Representative at DISH. With the TV2 remote working for both TVs, you will want to make sure the TV1 input on the receiver is connected to the TV cable (RCA or Coax cable) and TV2 input is connected to TV2 port on the back of the receiver. I will provide you our link explaining in more detail about connections. If you have any further questions I will provide you my e-mail; [email protected]. Here is the link I promised you: http://www.mydish.com/support/same-video-2-tvs

If you are unable to access the TV menu using the buttons on the TV itself it is possible you can with the TV2 remote if it still controls the volume etc. for this TV. If it doe not you will need to find a code for your set in the manual for the receiver or you can go to the following link to find that info as well.http://tech.dishnetwork.com/departmental_content/TechPortal/content/tech/receiver/625.shtml
Assuming you have control of the volume still press the small TV button on the top left of the remote. Now press the menu button and you may be able to access the TV's menu. If so you need to run a channel scan/auto program the TV. You may need to use the buttons on the TV still to maneuver through the menu.
If you are still unable to access the menu you may need to purchase a universal to access the menu.
