2003 Hyundai XG 350 will not start

Came home from trip, car had been parked for 2 weeks. Car would not start so I jumped it and it started. Next day car would not start, tried to jump it but would not turn over at all. Bought new battery and installed it. The alarm went off, all the lights work but car will not turn over (like trying to start it in gear). Called a shop and they said it could be in the security system, nothing in owners book about security system. Help

Thank you

Hooked new battery up, alarm went off, waited until it stopped, locked car with fob then unlocked and the car started.

Car always needs a jump start, battery good,2003 tracker, even with every day warm ups

You need to have a load test done on that battery Esther. The only other thing would be if your tracker would have a 12 volt drain.

The 12 volt battery(LUCAS 065/3) on my FORD FIESTA 1100cc is 4 years old, in that time i have only driven 1,600 miles as my journeys are usually very local. I make sure i use the car twice a week to keep...

Running so few miles has accelerated the aging of the battery - the battery never had a chance to fully recharge in such small trips -  so now you have to replace it a year sooner than usual.
Just replace it.

2004 hyundai XG-350 Check engine light is on and

Sorry Peter I do not have a solution to your car problem, but I also own a 2004 XG-350 and the SAME EXACT thing is happening to my car right now, crazy huh. Pretty much started out of nowhere...the boyfriend is going to go try the leaving keys in ON position and reconnecting the battery. Did you happen to find out what was wrong with yours, thought maybe if you did it would help save me a step. Praying nothing to serious. Hope you got your car working well again!

Thanks,
Nikki

Car intermitantly will not start..make a click noise but not a click click noise it was jumped one day...seemed fine ...next morning started...next day would not start...my neighbor jumped it said it might...

Check the battery first, if it is ok you probably have a bad starter. If the battery is drained, you need to charge and test the battery and alternator.

2007 Hyundai Elantra has to be jump started. Battery is fine

from your comment, theres 3 things that can cause this, loose batt.post connection, weak batt.or something in elect. circuit that stays on after car is off and drains batt.,like underhood light, dome or truck light, what u can do is when u park car unhook batt. cable, make sure batt. is well charged, hook it up next day if car starts, its something that drains batt.in car! if it doesnt start, batt. needs replacing.i ruled out starter, dealer should have checked it to see if it was pulling too much amps, and that its easy to jump.
