Battery I got a new battery and it work for one day ,and the screen said "For infoLITHUM Battery only" the thing is the old battery after months of working ok is saying the same thing? Is their a memory reset on this camera?

six disc cd changers are notorious for not working in gm. vehicles. on the battery issue i would get a new battery first. the place you bought it from proly jus through some old battery that was layn around to get by. i had the same problem, the battery checked good but just wasnt the right size for the hummer. new bigger battery fixed it all. it could also be the problem with the cd player. my superchips wouldnt work till i got a new battery. hope this helps

A friend of mine had a bad battery. I advised her to buy a new battery, which worked fine for several months. Then she called and said her laptop would not work on battery or even plugged in. I had her buy a new charger. A week later, she called and it was not working again. We tried several things (she is some distance away) and finally I had her go get the cord from her old charger (luckily the trash had not been picked up yet) and it worked fine. So even new things can go bad - it sounds like the battery charger or the cord might be at fault.

It sounds like a dead battery to me... How old is this battery? More than 2 years ... you are probably due for a replacement.

Find a new battery at Radio Shack, www.batteries.com or at a FixYa.com advertiser.

On the other hand, maybe it is time to upgrade your phone to a newer model.

My wife tells me if it is more than 6 months old,it is obsolete. I contend that todays cutting edge device is tomorrows door stop.

Yeah the same has happened to lenovo x61s, i contacted the supplier and they told me i need a new battery, unfortunatly laptop atterys arnt the cheapest things around

Return the phone to the dealer and they will probably give you a new one. The phone should be under warranty.
The phone may have a bad motherboard and just died. make sure your battery is the same model battery if not get the same model battery for his phone.
But i would just try and get a new one from your dealer.

Many users of the Pantech phones have been experiencing the same thing. There are a lot of default in this phone. I would suggest you to return it to Pantech and try to get a software upgrade. Although, I would recommend you NOT to use it. Even if the Pantech exchange it for a new one, the same problem will happened in a day or two.

i think you should talk to verizon about getting a new one. you really have to keep annoying them eventualy you should get your new phone!

Try the phone while plugged in and see what happens.  If it works fine then it's probably the battery or the contacts to the battery.  I've had a problem with my razr that's similar to this.  My razr is on the keys light up when i press something but the screen is completely blank open and closed and all the buttons work.  Best thing to try is leave out with battery and sim card out and it might start working again.  However if it is only 2 months old it should still be covered under warranty.  

I'm having the exact same problem. I was in the middle of zooming on a shot and it froze, so I turned the camera off and on, and now I get the 5-chimes+Zoom Error screen. This is nuts, I've only had the thing for six months, and it was $250 (got the Stylus 730). I *think* I got a replacement plan so that's good. But still... I hope circuit city lets me get a different brand b/c I'm not happy with this now. The only problem I had before was the HORRID shutter delay. I want a model that doesn't have that problem .

An electronics store or Radio Shack should carry this. Take your old one with so that they can test it - it should be at least 3V. The battery type is CR1616 or CR1620
