turn the key to the on position a see if you can here a buzzing sound around the fuel tank,if you don't hear a sound then. (be very careful while doing this) with the key off take a fuel line coming from the tank loose, make sure its pointed away from you and turn the key to the on position, see if any gas comes out,if not then your fuel pump is probably bad.

sounds like youve really done your home work all that comes to mind now is try a cam posistion sensor this would keep your car from starting as well if that is good you can aslo try a crank sensor. you will get all of the readings that you are getting and these sensors can still be bad.

3.9 98 dakota won't fire replaced computor and coil what would you try next

Check distributor. Remove cap and examine components. There should be a rotor and a triggering device on the shaft which tells the computer when to fire. Make sure the shaft turns by having someone to crank it while you watch. If it doesn't turn your timing chain or belt is broken

My 2000 expedition start but wont turn over sometime unless i spray starting fluid in it then it comes right on

Turning over the engine, is not the same
thing as a no start condition

Won't turn over, means the starting system
is dead

Do you have the correct fuel pressure at the fuel rail
with a pressure gauge or on scan tool data, when the
key is turned on & also when running

About 42 lbs pressure

I would suspect you have issues other then fuel
& the spraying is just a coincidence

I think only scan tool or oscilloscope data on
several sensors, will be needed to see what's
missing on start up

I turn the ignition switch, truck is spinning but will not crank.

Easy way to figure out what is going on. Get a can of starting fluid and spray into the air breather. If it tries to start on the spray you have spark/timing, thats ok. So now you need to check for fuel. See if you can pull a fuel line from the pressure side of the fuel pump. Spin the engine and see if she is pumping fuel.

99 f250 7.3......has been running rough mid throttle, yesterday on the highway it died but started back up before i could get pulled over, today it shut off and stated it back up and made it home...i have...

spray some carb cleaner down the breather pipe the carb could be clogged up so it is not opening properly and choking the engine or flush out your feul they may be dirty and your not getting enough fuel through when you need it or your air intake senser might need changing cus if your air/fuel mix is wrong your engine will stall

Starting Problem

do not i will say it again do not spray starter fluid in to the breather as you will destroy your mass air flow sensor. check or change your crank sensor and your cam sensor.. i have had the same problem and it took me like 3 months to find that out.. i have a 2000 hyundai accent and it it would start from a cold start with no problem but once it warmed up it would stall... besides the crank shaft sensor is one of the cheapest parts you can change ............
