Hi hope some one can solve what is at fault here i have a philips 32pw9544/05m 32" tv which is stuck in standby mode with the light blinking it pongs on first start and then clicks as if it was going to start up then clicks again and then after a short while maybe once again i persume its a power failiure of some sort after post power maybe overload of some sort!!! can anyone shed light on what part is at fault ive been told it easy fix but not what needs fixing im ok at simpler electronics with good soldering skills (well on lesser things like ps2`s and other consoles never done tv before!!!)but dont want to fiddle if it gonna be too harder job to fix. any help or a solution to a fix would be much appreciated. i have schematic of tv but yet to print it out and view in detail. if i knew where to start or look then id be away :). paul... my email if anyone wants to help or contact me on this is as follows:- [email protected]
It could be bad solders but U could have a bad Horzontal output Transistor or even the regulator IC could be bad. If U know how to check a transistor go to the Horzonyal Transistor and check it. You could also have a bad cap in the power supply

by the way the chasis is a MG2.1E if that helps :)
My Philips 32PW6322/25 TV is stuck in standby mode. There was a power fluxtuation tonight, the TV immediately went into standby followed by what I can best describe as a 'cheep' noise being emitted from the set approximately every second, accompanied by the red standby light dimming. This continues now for as long as the set is switched on. Normally this low level 'cheep' noise would occur once, then the TV would power up and switch on fully, but this isn't occurring now.
ok my problem is allimantation
