HI SOUFBOY , Theres a few things you need to check , First make sure that your amplifier is getting an audio signal form your head unit,Check all the wires for breaks in the amplifier input, secondly make sure that your 12 inch woofers are still connected to the amp check all the wires . Thirdly check your woofers are they blown ? . The best way of grounding your amp is by scrapping all the paint on a spot on the car body inside the trunk or wherever you have it and making sure the ground wire is securely screwed onto the car body on that spot ..

I have two 12 inch infinity 1250w subwoofers. Will my alpine v-power mrp-m350 amplifier power the subwoofers effectively?

You dont specify the model or RMS power of the subwoofers so i am not sure if that power is RMS or maximum.
If it is RMS, then a BiG no would be the answer. Even though the MRP-M350 will drive the subwoofers and will give you a fair sound as well, it not drive both of them effectivley. After all it's only 350WATT (the amp)RMS trying to push a 2500 RMS (the subs) target, so do the maths, is that a fair fight?
hope this helps.

I have a old 2001 rockford fosgate 2 channel p5002 model in great condition just need to know how many watts is it and which subwoofers are compatible to this amp? thanks

Your amp is rated at 500 watts. Here is the break down of your wattage.

125x2 at 4 ohms
250x2 at 2 ohms
500x1 at bridged 4 ohms

When hooking up the amp make sure to use 4 gauge power and ground wire.

Amplifier will not come on and when i hook the amplifier up the the radio comes on without the car being on

did you check to see if your remote wire for the amp as connected to the ignition wire thats the most common mistake. the ignition wire is the one to tell the radio and amp when to turn on and off it sounds like you have it hooked up to a constant 12 volt which is the battery wire. the ignition wire is the one that is 12 volts only when the car is turned on.

My amp has no sound coming out of an rca jack

It might just be an easy fix at your local electronics repair shop. May be cheaper than buying a new amp. Was for me.

I have a sony xm-2002gtw and i want to know if i can hook two 2-ohm dual subwoofers up to this amp and how i have 2 solo baric 12-inch.

200W x 2 @ 4 Ohm
500W x 1 @ 4 Ohm

This amplifier cannot handle a load lower than 4 Ohms in stereo or bridged mode.

If the subs are Dual 2 ohm - You cannot wire a 4 ohm load with (2) subwoofers.

Only 8, 2, or 1/2 ohm loads are possible with (2) dual 2ohm voicecoils

Thanks!

Rockford P5002 amp problem with thermal light and low voltage

Hello rbenwalker,

The voltage drop may not be in the actual power wire itself. The same reading on both the B+ and remote terminal probably points to a bad or high resistance ground. Try a different ground point or make sure there isn't any corrosion, paint or anything else preventing metal to metal contact.

Hope this helps.

Rockford P5002 not getting enough power

7 volts will not be sufficient for the amp either for power or remote. Also check to make sure you speakers wires are not crossed. If its goin it to protect mode immediately the amp is detecting a fault and is not turning on.

I need instructions connecting my car subwoofers

Bridging your amplifier @ 4 ohm will yield the most power.... with the subwoofers you have.
You must wire them in Parallel.
Positive on both subwoofers to + on amplifier.
Negative on both subwoofers to - on amplifier.
The lowest impedence possible with 8 ohm woofers is 4 ohms.
