Gaps in cyan when printing

Hi, I posted a problem for fixing gaps in the cyan on my printer. I got a solution on how to manually clean the print head. Do I leave the ink cartridges in the printer while performing the cleaning or should they be removed? Thanks eastman

You can leave them in as they will take no harm and the ink will help to push any blockages out from the other side

HP Officejet 6310 will not print cyan

The Cyan print head nozzle maybe blocked.
If deep cleaning does not fix it then you need a new print head.
The cost of a new print head is expensive and it maybe better to get a new printer.

Will not print cyan

The cyan print head may be blocked. Try several deep cleaning of the print head to see if it can clear the blocked cyan print nozzles. Also check the cyan cartridge, make sure it is not empty.
If none of this works then the print head needs to be replaced. NOTE the print head is not a cheap item, you may consider putting the money towards a new and better printer.

Cyan will not print

You need to clean the head manually with isopropyl alcohol , cotton and cleaning solution. If this does not work you will need to change the head because is defective.
