Re: duet Washing Machine spin cycle is spinning slow
Make sure u are not under loading the washer with just one or two items and that the load is fairly balanced or else the machine will not go into high speed spin as to not go completely off balance and walk across your floor if that doesnt fix it you might need a new ccu or motor control board probably the second one and make sure u are using HE detergent and not too much because suds will lock the pump up which will not spin with water in the unit

Most common to cause slow spin is slow draining. Remove the lower panel (3 screws) and remove the pump filter. It simply unscrews and can be cleaned of debris to facilitate fast drainage and good spinning results. Be sure to have a few towels handy to catch the little bit of water that remains in the lines when you unscrew the filter.
Sometimes this is a problem with the drain pump filter. It will get clogged with debris which will cause unit to spin slowly. The panel at the front bottom of unit will grant you access to the filter on the pump. Get a bowl or bucket and get ready to catch some water. Good luck
Careful of overloading the front-loading washers. Too much of this will result in the bearings in the drum to go bad. When this happens, the rpms on the drum slow down due to belt slack. You can only see this with the back off of the unit and in the middle of the cycle. They do not sell replacement bearings...you'll have to buy the whole drum (bearings pressed inside) and for 1/2 the cost of a new washer. I hate front-loaders. I'll never buy one again.
no high spin speed will ever be acheived if the water cant drain out,, remove th elower acess panel (3) screws acros the front of unit, from there youll see a drain clean out, unscrew the plastic and remove the dbris,, BE WARNED THER EWILL BE WATER BEHIND THE SCREWOUT DRAIN PLUG!!!!! i usually grab a trash bag and hold under to catch the gallon or so of wate rthat will come out
