Question about Acer TravelMate C302XMi Tablet PC
It's been over a year; I have been living with the problem of moving cursor; while working on tablet. After opening the Tablet; within 20 minutes; cursor automatically moves to right corner of the screen and start opening the various windows. Can you help me with this? Provide me a solution or tell me where I can dump this piece of junk? Thanks -BP
I have exactly the same problem, returned my tablet 3 times and done fresh installs but it still occurs. each time i returned it they re-wired the wacom unit and it looked like it did the job but then started again a few weeks later. phoning acer up again to see whats happening as i'm still in warrenty. out of interest is it the bottom right corner when in laptop mode?

I?ve had a couple of Dells laptops do this and without fail the cause was flaky touchpad/mouse drivers. I would suggest going to the Acer website downloading the latest drivers for your mouse. If that fails try removing the driver and running with the Windows default drivers, that what I?ve been doing successfully on my company laptops for several years now. Acer driver download page, the web site is really slow so be prepared for a long wait. The closest match was the C300 so I?m assuming these are generic drivers for the 300 series. Use the pull down menus and select the following: -Select Product Line = Notebook -To the right of that select TravelMate C300 (way at the bottom) -Make sure English is selected and click on the search button. Once the drivers page opens go down towards the bottom and load for TM C300 touchpad drivers Let us know if you have any other questions and please don?t forget to rate this posting.

Is it maybe possible it is a hardware prob? maybe the directional sensor in the tablet was displadced.
BTW i have the same tablet and need an harddrive replacement/upgrade, how did you manage to do that? what kind of drive and where to buy? Viewsonic seems not so eager to help me out with that.
