Question about GE 31GT659 31" TV

1 Answer

I need to know how to access the verticle hold to adjust TV

I've got a GE 31GT659 31" which has been a great TV for the past 10 yrs, but now the picture has streched out vertically cutting portions of peoples heads and chopping off the score during sports. The Chasis # is CTX187CN2. Please let me know if you need more information.

Sorry about the confusion, but I'm not the most technical person to describe the problem. What I think is happening is the Verticle size of the picture needs to be reduced to fit the television screen. I thought I would need to access the service menu to adjust the picture size, thus fixing the problem. Thanks for your help and I hope I explained it a bit better.

What do you mean that the picture streched out.this is a strange problem.as vertical problem does not strech it either have a line inthe middle of the raster, shrink both at the top and bottom of raster, lines run up and down on the raster.kindly explain your problem in detail then i will be able to help you.
